Privacy

bivia doesn't use accounts, ads or tracking cookies. To remember your streak, your browser stores a random ID, and our server keeps that ID with your answers, scores and the country your connection comes from (for leaderboard flags). Leaderboard names like "Teal Otter" are generated from the random ID.

If you sign in with Google, we save only Google's ID number for your account so your stamps follow you; your email stays in your browser. You can hide your country in Settings. We never store your name, email or IP address. Clearing your browser data starts you fresh; use "Move to another device" first if you want to keep your streak.
